Disney movies are our favorite, and they’ve expanded EVERYWHERE — especially theme parks and merchandise.

When Disney+ was released, many fans were excited to be able to watch EVERYTHING Disney in one place. While we’ve gotten to see old classics and discover new series, there are still so many films that are missing from the streaming service.
It’s no secret that Disney’s attractions are on the cutting edge of technology.
Frozen Ever After Ride
To keep its position at the forefront of theme park tech, Disney is CONSTANTLY putting out new inventions. We love combing through Disney patents to see innovations such as an interactive phone case or a crazy VR lightsaber experience. Well, we recently spotted a patent that might point to a whole new way to create a water ride! Let’s take a look!
We’ve seen some wild things over the years in Disney World (remember when Cinderella Castle was turned into a giant pink birthday cake for the 25th anniversary?).

Although there have been so many sights that we will never forget in the parks, there’s Disney entertainment that has been lost to time. With all the new lands and the giant EPCOT Transformation, many guests don’t realize that Disney has hosted some delightfully strange shows and attractions over the years.
The Disney Park Pass reservation system — Disney’s new way to book a reservation for theme parks while Disney maintains limited capacity in the parks — went live on June 22nd for guests who currently have hotel reservations and park tickets.
2020 Annual Passholder Magnet
While guests with upcoming resort stays and valid ticket media were able to book their park passes yesterday, Annual Passholders without a hotel reservation will be able to take advantage of their booking window starting June 26th.
Since this is a turbulent time with IT glitches and changing information, a lot of our DFB readers have had questions about their Annual Passes. And we are here to give you all the details you need to know before using your Annual Pass to book your next visit to the parks with the Disney Park Pass system!
Today was a HUGE day. On top of the Disney World Resorts re-opening, the Disney Park Pass system went live for the first time.

However, there’s a lot to keep in mind when it comes to the resorts and the new theme park reservation system.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea have been closed since February.

But now, Tokyo Disneyland just announced they plan to start a phased reopening.
The Disney Parks have slowly started to re-open around the world.
Disneyland Paris
While Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland have reopened to guests, Walt Disney World theme parks will be welcoming guests again on July 11th and July 15th (and Disneyland Resort has a proposed reopening timeline as well). Although Tokyo Disneyland has yet to announce its re-opening timeline, Disneyland Paris will be opening back up to guests soon!
While Disney Springs has already re-opened on the East Coast, Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is getting ready to re-open on July 9th!

Although we’ve already been told that Salt & Straw would be opening back up along with the shopping and dining district, we’ve got news about another snack spot you can visit soon.
City Works is back open with Peanut Butter Snickers Pie, and we couldn’t be happier about it!

While Disney Springs has lots of restaurants, shops, and entertainment back up and running, we’re ready for some mimosas and a Jon Bun Jovi Cinnamon Roll the next time we visit!
