Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning this year (tickets are on sale now and already selling out!), and we’ve been eager to learn more about this year’s party. Now we’ve got a list of all the treats coming to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year!
Disney World might be running a little low on some merchandise items, but they’re certainly not lacking in holiday treat options!
We’ve already had a tasty Christmas Cookie Sundae, a kind of sad Peppermint Churro, and a lemon-y Sugar Cookie Snowman. Now we’re heading over to Disney’s Riviera Resort to try the latest holiday confection! It might give you déjà vu when you hear the name…but we promise this one’s different. [Read more…]
We’ve already checked out the holiday snacks at Magic Kingdom’s Very Merriest After Hours Event, tried several treats in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and even eaten our way around the world with delicious food from EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. Now we’re heading to the hotels for a couple more snacks! We found two returning treats that we’ve LOVED in the past, but will they measure up this year? [Read more…]
We just found one of the PRETTIEST gingerbread cookies in Disney World!
Disney’s Riviera Resort is home to Le Petit Cafe which has brought us some of our favorite holiday desserts and coffee drinks. We’ve got another holiday snack to add to our growing list of favorites. Right now, Le Petit Cafe is baking up some Mickey Gingerbread Cookies that are exclusive only to the Riveria Resort!
We love a good red velvet cake all year-round, but that love is amplified around the holidays.
It’s not that red velvet has a particularly Christmas-y flavor, it’s the rich red color that gives us all the yuletide feels! Just think about the Holiday Whoopie Pie in Hollywood Studios! We’re trying another pretty red velvet dessert RIGHT NOW!
As we ramp up to the Holidays in Walt Disney World, we’ve got more photos for you Festive Foodies!
To start, we’ll continue to whet your appetite (literally!) with with a few photos of yummy treats available all around the parks and resorts (thanks to Cody from the GDPinvestigation Blog for contributing so many)! Following those, I have a few shots of some food-related holiday merchandise that just might tempt you into a trip to Downtown Disney… 🙂
And stay tuned tomorrow for what is becoming a HUGE “Gingerbread Houses in Disney World” post, with photos contributed from at least three excellent photographers. I can’t wait to share with you their views through the lens.
Disney World Holiday Treats
This beautiful Christmas Tree cookie is sold at the American Adventure’s life-sized gingerbread house. Great stocking stuffer, eh?
And here’s a fun Gingerbread House Kit that’s sold at the American Adventure’s gingerbread house as well!
But if you don’t want to make your own gingerbread house, the Boardwalk Bakery is selling pre-made versions!
And while you’re at the Boardwalk, you can snag some of these adorable cupcakes and brownies.
Over at the Contemporary, you can pick up these yummy gingerbread cookies…
…along with these minty treats!
All over the World, of course, you can find the ubiquitous holiday “crisped rice treat!”
Of course, you need to have some chocolate-covered pretzels…and some Christmas-y chocolates!
Disney World Holiday Merchandise
These first two can be found in Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom. I love that Christmas apron!
And these were found over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. How cool is the peppermint-themed Tink stocking? And the plate and mug are perfect for egg nog and cookies left out for Santa…
More holidays at Disney Parks to come! Thanks for reading, and thanks to all who have contributed their stories and photos! See you tomorrow with Gingerbread Galore!
