These restaurants sacrifice comfort and luxury dining for quick and cheap meals that are perfect if you’re on the go. Fortunately, Disneyland has a ton of very good quick service options, including an incredibly underrated one over at Frontierland in Disneyland Park!

Blue Bayou is an atmospheric dining experience found in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. Literally found within the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in the bayou scene, Blue Bayou opened in 1967 and serves Cajun cuisine. One of the most famous Disney restaurants in the world and serving as inspiration for many other atmospheric dining experiences that followed, Blue Bayou remains legendary to this day. But does it hold up after all this time? We recently visited and found an answer!

Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland

Disneyland Park is home to several popular attractions and, of course, some delicious restaurants. One of those restaurants is Plaza Inn! Located on Main Street, U.S.A., this restaurant opened with the park in 1955 (it was then called the Red Wagon Inn) and is still the only place in Disneyland Park to experience character dining. We recently visited our favorite Disneyland counter service location to see if it still holds up in 2024, and we have a lot to report!

If you’re visiting Disneyland, one spot to get MORE than a heaping spoonful of delicious sugar is Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe — on the end of Main Street, USA at Disneyland. This quick-service bakery-style eatery serves up TONS of delicious, sugary options, from specialty coffees to seasonal treats and desserts. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and don’t worry — they have “real food” options as well. Today, we’re taking you along with us to Jolly Holiday so that you can see for yourself what the hype is about. Let’s go!

REVIEW: Biscuit. French. Toast. at Disneyland Resort’s GCH Craftsman Grill (Filed Under MUST EAT)

When Disneyland Resort’s White Water Snacks was renamed GCH (that’s Grand Californian Hotel) Craftsman Grill earlier this year (read all about it here!), we hoped the quick service spot wouldn’t lose its charm or its tasty menu of eats. The verdict? The restaurant remained as charming as ever (no changes besides signage, that we can see). And the menu? Still delicious.

We enjoyed the crunchy and creative End of Summer Slaw Dog in August (read our review!), and we almost never turn down a cupcake or a donut here. This month’s WILD DOG is super awesome as well — here’s our review of that one!

Review! Dig Into This Bacon and Cheese Fritter At Disneyland’s Royal St. Veranda!

Royal St Veranda in New Orleans Square is a simple walk-up window with a few tables but you will almost always find a long line (So don’t forget to use Mobile Ordering.) It’s known mostly for its hearty bread bowls. But to me this spot is all about the fritters!
