Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collections have been popular, to say the least, but now they have our head spinning for another reason! Yesterday, we spotted the Minnie Ears from the Dumbo The Flying Elephant Collection of the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series in MAGIC KINGDOM at Disney World! And now, we spotted another collection across the U.S. at Disneyland!
Disney previously announced that they would not be releasing new limited-edition merchandise into the parks to help keep guidelines for social distancing. However, we just spotted the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Mad Tea Party pins set at Disneys Pin Traders in Downtown Disney!
While Disneyland has yet to announce a reopening date for its two theme parks, we can STILL visit the shopping and dining district, Downtown Disney! And with indoor dining set to resume as early as this weekend, there are even MORE reasons to visit these days!

Disneyland is looking a little different today.
As you may know, California is one of 13 states currently battling wildfires that amount to more than 5,300 square miles — about the size of Connecticut. The smoke from these fires has reached Disneyland as the sunny California skies are obscured.
We haven’t been able to step inside Disneyland Park for quite a few months now.
We wish Elsa could “tell the guards to open up the gates!” But alas, we’ve only been able to stare longingly at the park from afar for now. On our last visit, however, we noticed something new had been placed near the park’s entrance!
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park may still be closed, but that hasn’t stopped us from having a fun time over in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.
And, while we’ve enjoyed eating at some of our favorite spots in their outdoor seating areas, we’re now starting to get more information about when restaurants in Downtown Disney should be seating guests indoors!
Today, California Governor Gavin Newsom held a news conference where he provided an update on the state’s reopening initiatives. While taking questions from reporters, Newsom commented that the negotiations with theme parks are “open-ended,” signaling that the state has yet to produce definitive reopening guidelines for Disneyland.
It was also announced today that Orange County, where Disneyland resides, has advanced to the next reopening tier. According to the city of Anaheim’s reopening website, that means that indoor dining can resume soon!
While Downtown Disney has been open for Guests for two months, we still have no word on when Disneyland will reopen its two theme parks. No updates have been provided from Disneyland since they delayed the reopening of the parks, originally scheduled to take place on July 17.
In a news conference today, California Governor Gavin Newsom commented on the ongoing progress being made in conversations with the theme park industry in the state, and noted that there are still some open-ended areas in their negotiations.
