Walt Disney World reopened with new health and safety guidelines in light of the global health crisis.
Together Again Face Mask
Some of the guidelines are encouraged, but wearing a proper face covering indoors is a required mandate. While guests can forgo masks outdoors, they must wear them while inside, in queues, or on attractions. We’ve shared OODLES of tips with you over the past few months but we’re back with tips we HAVEN’T told you a billion times!
When Disney Springs reopened in May of this year, the shopping and dining complex began requiring all guests to wear face coverings — a safety precaution that has been in place around Walt Disney World since.

In order to make sure guests comply with these rules, Disney has aimed to make wearing a face mask more fun by releasing TONS of fun designs and styles with Disney characters! We’ve seen special face mask designs for Halloween and Christmas as well, and we’ve really been loving Disney’s creativity. It may be hard to believe, but Disney World’s four theme parks have been reopened since JULY of this year. We know, we know, time has just FLOWN by this year, right? Okay, so maybe the idea of time itself is all sorts of jumbled this year, but it’s true! And in the months since Disney World reopened, a lot has changed.

Overall, these regulations have remained relatively constant in the last two months. Transportation and lodging companies have become accustomed to the new rules in place, like mandatory face masks and increased sanitation. Companies have also implemented new travel policies to accommodate the CDC health advisories as well as budget cuts and shortages. It’s important to keep track of all the new policies so when it’s time to travel, you know what to expect and how to prepare for it.
