Something NEW Just Appeared at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Replace an Empty Attraction

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is about to debut TWO brand-new shows! That’s right, in LESS than a week, you will have even more options for entertainment in Hollywood Studios. On May 27th, 2025, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After AND The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will be opening, and we can’t wait!

We have been keeping a close eye on the changes happening for these new shows! We recently saw Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After for the first time during Cast Member previews. We also got a look at the new marquee for The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and saw some first-look photos from Disney. Now, Disney has shared a first look at the new look for the Sunset Showcase courtyard, and we had to share it with you!

Disney Files NEW Permit for Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge in Magic Kingdom

Some BIG things are coming to Magic Kingdom. Frontierland is getting a Cars expansion. A new villains land is going behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is currently getting a long refurbishment and potential upgrade. AND a Pirates of the Caribbean tavern is coming to Adventureland.

Yes, you will soon be able to lounge in a space dedicated to making you feel like you’re a pirate that’s themed around this classic Disney attraction. Now, this new tavern will be replacing what was once the Pirates League, and now, the tavern is one step closer to opening: a new permit has been filed by Disney to replace the Pirates League sign with the new tavern sign!

Is This a Sign That Disney Imagineers Are Working on the NEW Spaceship Earth Lounge Soon?

Disney World has a lot of projects in the works right now. We’ve already seen permits filed for construction on the Cars expansion for Magic Kingdom, as well as the new Villains Land.

We’ve also seen permits related to the new Villains show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as permits to help transform DinoLand, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom into Pueblo Esperanza. Now, we’ve spotted two NEW permits, including one for EPCOT, presumably for the new Spaceship Earth Lounge, as well as for Ye Olde Christmas Tree Shoppe in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. Both permits are for signage.

Disney Just Made a Magic Kingdom Parking Change, and We Love It!

If you have been to Walt Disney World, you have probably found yourself fighting through the Transportation and Ticket Center (also lovingly known as the TTC) on many occasions.

We have a love-hate relationship with this part of Disney World. Honestly, a little more hate than love, but it is one of the necessities to grab transportation to Magic Kingdom if you are driving your own car. You can park in the massive parking lot here and grab a ferry or monorail to Magic Kingdom, or a monorail to EPCOT.

EPCOT Is A MESS. This Small Change Makes a HUGE Difference.

For the past few years, EPCOT has been in the middle of a MASSIVE transformation.

The park has seen plenty of updates, from new restaurants and rides to new gift shops. Walkways have changed and theming has been updated, and Disney even split the park into four “neighborhoods.” And recently, as a sign of all these changes, we spotted a new addition in the park!

If you’re traveling to Disney World, everyone in your party ages 2 and up will be required to wear a face mask.
