Big changes are coming to EPCOT
Yes, EPCOT is still in the middle of its big transformation. Yes, the Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana attraction is coming in the fall. Yes, the CommuniCore Hall and Communicore Plaza Festival Area will open later this year. But we’re talking about something MASSIVE that’s happening on September 22nd and it will change a LOT around EPCOT.
Part of the fun of a Disney trip is seeing all our favorite characters.

Yes, we will hug Mickey EVERY chance we can get. We also love seeing his friends, like Donald and Daisy. We love seeing characters wandering around the parks, too. Now, though, it seems like two NEW characters may be headed to the Disney parks soon, and we can’t wait!

The Haunted Mansion movie just debuted in movie theaters. To celebrate the new film, a TON of new Haunted Mansion merchandise is popping up all over the place. PLUS, we’ve got Haunted Mansion treats in the parks (and yes, we have already tried the spooky Madame Leota Crisped Rice Treat). Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Once upon a time, the answer might have been Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. Back in the day, it had a reputation for being one of the BEST quick spots to grab a burger in the Most Magical Place on Earth. These days, the menu has changed to feature more Mexican fare (though there is still a burger on the menu) and it might not always be a spot on people’s radars. But…should it be? Frankly, Pecos Bill has changed and it’s not all for the best…
Disney is involved in a variety of lawsuits right now — on everything from Park Passes to the Reedy Creek Improvement District — but we’ve got a big update on one important one.
Reedy Creek Improvement District
A lawsuit was previously filed by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (the new name for the Reedy Creek Improvement District) against Disney in state court in Florida. This lawsuit claims that certain agreements Disney entered into with the old Board (which the new Board claims stripped them of their power) are null and void. The Board is suing to ask the Court to declare the old agreements invalid. Disney previously filed a motion to dismiss this lawsuit (essentially get it thrown out of court) for a variety of reasons and now we’ve got an update as to what will happen next.
