Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is returning once again for 2019! Sponsored by Visit Orlando, this annual event begins August 23 and runs through September 30th. Magical Dining Month offers Orlando locals and guests the chance to enjoy the Orlando culinary scene at significant savings: $35 for three courses at participating area restaurants. Over 100 restaurants will be offering the prix fixe dinners, which include appetizer, entree, and dessert.
In keeping with tradition, one dollar from each meal goes to support local charities. Best Buddies and Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida were the two charities for 2018, and the charities for this year’s program will be announced in the coming weeks.
For a complete list of participating restaurants and Magical Dining Month menus, head over to Visit Orlando’s website. And to see all of the restaurants at Disney World and in the immediate Lake Buena Vista area, click here.
As in previous years, several Disney World restaurants are participating, including Morimoto Asia, Todd English’s bluezoo, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, among others. We’re super excited that Jaleo has been added to the lineup this year!
With this many Disney restaurants participating, there is something to note: when you arrive for your Advance Dining Reservation at one of the Resort locations, be sure to notify your server that you are interested in selecting from the Orlando Magical Dining Prix Fixe menu.
You can check out the menus of each participating location by viewing the restaurant list on the Orlando Magical Dining Month website and clicking the wine bottle and notepad icon next to each restaurant’s name. That’s where you’ll find out that items such as the delicious Croquetas de Pollo from Jaleo are available as one of the course options at that location.
