We’re back with another crave-inducing installment of Disney Food Pics of the Week!
We all love waffles at Disney, right? I mean, there’s nothing better than digging into a Mickey Waffle for breakfast. 🙂
But did you know, there’s a TON of really interesting other waffles at Disney!
Today, we’re bringing you more of your pics, courtesy of our Flickr page, Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza! From snacks to sandwiches to Food and Wine Festival desserts, let’s take a look at your fantastic food finds!
Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote
Say it with me: It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Yep — we’re talking about Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival!
Last year, the Belgium Marketplace Booth capitalized on the popularity of their dessert waffles by offering a savory version! But the sweets, like the Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote, are always a good choice!

Ham, Prosciutto, and Swiss Waffle Sandwich
The Ham, Prosciutto, and Swiss Waffle Sandwich is one of our favorites! In fact, I don’t think you can go wrong by ordering any of the Waffle Sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom.
Be sure to try the Egg version for breakfast, the Spicy Chicken version for lunch (yum!), or the Nutella and Fresh Fruit anytime you get the chance!!

Heart-Shaped Waffles
in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion is one of our favorite spots for snacks or a quick bite in all of Epcot. Their Schoolbread is among my top picks for Can’t-Miss Disney Snacks. But this Waffle, made fresh to order and sandwiched with Lingonberry Preserves, is another excellent choice!

I had the spicy chicken waffle at Sleepy Hallow last time and was disappointed with it. I enjoyed the fresh fruit one about a year ago though! My favorite waffle at WDW is simple – I like the Mickey ones on the Cape May buffet, topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and syrup. The whipped cream elevates the waffle and makes it even more tasty!
Waffles at Disney are the best especially the ones shaped like Mickey! We love the Pumpkin Spice Waffle at Halloween and the other flavored ones offered around the year at various parks and resorts. I can’t wait to try the Ham, Prosciutto, and Swiss Waffle Sandwich. I actually do something like this at breakfast when we stay at a 1BR DVC resort with the full kitchen (waffle, ham or salami, spinach, and egg or egg whites). Its easy and packed with protein to get me through the morning walking through the parks.
The proscuitto waffle sandwich was disgusting IMHO. I regret not trying the fruit one instead.
I had to get one at Epcot, the smell drew me in there. Those were good. Also had the Mickey waffle.
I will have to try the others whenever I get back there.
