Well, well, well… There are some MAJOR upsets here now that round one has concluded, as we knew there would be with how some of these dining spots were seated! I mean, c’mon, pitting Regal Eagle Smokehouse against Satu’li Canteen?!? What were we thinking?! That’s like choosing a favorite CHILD! 😉
DFB Counter Service Throwdown Current Standings
Something else became obviously apparent after this initial round ended — y’all ain’t havin’ ANY of what Be Our Guest Restaurant is serving for their quick-service breakfast and lunch! Both Cheshire Cafe and Sleepy Hollow took down the new Fantasyland institution! Well, having known our way around a Cheshire Cat Tail for many a year, we can’t fault you for your logic!

Here’s another shocker — Casey’s Corner has just taken out Columbia Harbor House! Does that mean that your hearts are filled with as much plastic cheese in a cup as OURS are??

And while so far we felt like everyone was on the right track, WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO LES HALLES, Y’ALL?? Don’t get us wrong, we love ourselves some Mexico pavilion’s La Cantina de San Angel, but never would have imagined Les Halles Boulangerie would topple in the first round!
