Next year is a really exciting one for Disney World — the park is celebrating its 50th anniversary!
We’re really excited about all the ways Disney is planning to celebrate this momentous anniversary. Before we start celebrating that anniversary, there’s another one happening now that deserves our attention!
Disney is celebrating 20 years of Disney pins! Although pin trading is a little bit different this year because of health and safety guidelines, pins are still a really fun Disney souvenir to collect!
Disney held a virtual pin trading event earlier this month to celebrate the anniversary. While hanging out in Magic Kingdom today, we stopped into Frontier Trading Post and spotted two different pin sets commemorating the occasion! This one celebrates 20 Years of Pins with different variations of Mickey Mouse in front of the castle over the years.
We love how Mickey’s different looks represent the changes that have come over the last twenty years. This pin set costs $99.99 and is part of a limited series of 1,500!
This next pin is just a little bit bigger than the trading pins we’re accustomed to. We see some familiar faces on this pin! It features Mickey Mouse (obviously), along with Tinker Bell, Oswald, Jessica Rabbit, Sleeping Beauty, and more! This pin is part of a limited series of 1,000!
It reads “Disneyland” across the top and characters are shown in front of a large number 20 in the background. This pin costs a whopping $109.99. But hey, it’s limited edition, right? These special pins are a great way to celebrate two decades of pin trading! If you’re an avid pin trader, they could make a great addition to your collection.
