UPDATE: All rides in Animal Kingdom reopened later in the day.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been encountering some hiccups lately.
And we don’t just mean bad weather or long lines. Recently, we reported that a power outage shut down about half the park, including popular rides like Expedition Everest and DINOSAUR! And now, it seems to have happened again.
Currently, almost all of the attractions in Animal Kingdom are closed. This includes Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and even shows like It’s Tough to Be a Bug!. As of right now, only Flight of Passage and TriceraTop Spin remain open.
Readers are informing us that these closures are due to another major power outage, as was the case last time. We do not currently have a reopening timeline for all of these attractions, although last time, most rides reopened within the day.
If you’re in Animal Kingdom right now, hang tight! We’ll hopefully see this situation resolved soon. Stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep a close eye on things and keep ya posted!
