When you go to Disney World every day, you see some pretty strange things.
Things just got freaky over at the Tower of Terror
We’ve seen animatronics without hands, Princess Anna without a face, and a plant replacing Donald Duck. Seriously, y’all, we’ve seen some things. 😲
But today, we saw something that has us convinced that something strange is afoot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Because it seems the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror really does exist in the Twilight Zone! We noticed something very bizarre when we visited the Tower today — the wait time on the sign in front of the ride said 744 minutes!!! WHAT?!?!?!
Um… HOW long is the wait?
Like, we love Tower of Terror, but um…not that much. But we checked the end of the line sign and the wait was just 60 minutes. So what exactly is going on here?

But then the sign in front of the Tower changed again. And it’s just not sure what the wait time is. 15? At this point, we’re a little amused…but also a little creeped out. Are the ghosts inside the Hollywood Tower Hotel trying to send us a message?
15? Um…you tell us, sign!
Or is it 15 or less? Because it also said 15< at one point. Something seriously weird was going on! It changed quite a few times while we were standing there!
We have no idea…
And we even managed to get a video of it changing in real-time! Is “K5<” some kind of code?

But get this, we asked a Cast Member about the obviously malfunctioning sign — AND WE WERE TOLD IT WAS HIT BY LIGHTNING. And of course, we didn’t buy that in the least (considering the ride’s theme), but two other Cast Members said they too believe the Tower of Terror wait sign was hit by lightning and damaged. They could have been kidding to keep the malfunction in theme with the attraction. Or…maybe it WAS hit by lightning?! ⚡️
Is it ironic that this sign got hit by lightning? Or just weird?
We wonder what’s really up with the sign! If we see any other amusing — or strange — happenings at Disney World, we’ll be sure to share.

One would think if it had been struck by lighting there would be other damage around the sign. I’m going to go with supernatural forces are happening.
