It’s like Christmas came early today, with lots of news about how Disney is planning to celebrate the holidays.
Along with some updates to Disney World’s Festival of the Holidays, we also heard more about how Disneyland is going to celebrate the festive season. And now we’ve got a sneak peek for you of some of the jolly merchandise that’ll arrive in the Disneyland parks!
You’ve seen that Mickey and Minnie Mouse are getting brand new holiday outfits, right?
You’ll be able to get souvenirs to match the new clothes, with the Mickey and Minnie Mouse plushes. We’re pretty sure those puffy coats and holiday hats look even cuter in miniature.
In addition, there will be the “Walt’s Holiday Lodge” Collection, which is all about the cozy vibes of being home for the holidays. There will be new Minnie ears with Disney characters playing winter sports and a red plaid bow.
You can also get a backpack that’s decorated with snow-covered buildings and Mickey and Minnie on a ski lift.
To match that bag, there’s a new spirit jersey as well, with more winter sports scenes and a snowy “Disneyland” written across the back.
Or, if your home climate is a little warmer, there’s a collared denim shirt that has Mickey and Minnie ice skating on the front.
This is just a sneak peek at the upcoming merchandise — Disney has said to look out for more items, including clothes and housewares! So stay tuned with DFB and we’ll let you know when we spot the new items in the parks.
Which of the new items is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
