Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is an immersive themed area you can find in Disneyland Park and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios that features hit attractions like Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

But did you know you can take this immersion even further with a new virtual reality experience!

Near the Star Wars Trading Post store in the Downtown Disney District of Disneyland Resort, you’ll find a preview of a new Virtual Reality experience called Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge! This preview of the VR experience, created by Meta Quest 2 and ILMxLAB, will feature the planet of Batuu, which is the setting of Disneyland and Disney World’s Galaxy Edge areas. This will be available from November 21st, 2021 to January 5th, 2022 from 12PM to 8PM.

In Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll face off against space pirates and explore Batuu as you become a hero! To try out this new experience, look for it near Downtown Disney’s Star Wars Trading Post and talk to a Meta Quest staff member. You’ll either be given the opportunity to join the line or make a reservation. This experience will also be available on your Oculus headsets at home!
