Slowly but surely, Disney World has been resuming normal operations for its parks and resorts after the pandemic-related closures.
Even though it has been quite some time since the parks reopened, not everything has returned back to normal. Despite reopening most merchandise locations, attractions, and all of the resorts, there are still quite a few things that still remain closed. And today, we’re looking at the Disney World restaurants you didn’t realize were STILL closed!
When it comes to dining in Disney World, there are so many incredible options — although not all of them are currently open! Several Disney World eateries are still closed in the parks and beyond, so let’s check them out.
Magic Kingdom
Tomorrowland Terrace is typically only open seasonally in Magic Kingdom, and we only saw it reopen for a brief period of time after the parks reopened. However, the quick service location is currently serving as the location for Fireworks Dessert Viewing Parties in Magic Kingdom.
Disney hasn’t shared whether or not they plan on opening Tomorrowland Terrace back up for normal or seasonal dining in the future, but we’ll keep an eye out for updates.

EPCOT
Guests hoping to dine with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall have been unable to do so since the parks closed. For a brief time, the restaurant was being used as a Relaxation Station and then as a Florida Blue Lounge, but for now, the Norwegian eatery remains closed.
Over in the France Pavilion, the fine dining Monsieur Paul has yet to reopen. Known for its signature French table service fare, this spot typically features Prix Fixe tasting menus and wine pairings as well. We’re keeping an eye out for when Monsieur Paul might open again!
In the Morocco Pavilion, two eateries have remained closed. Restaurant Marrakesh, the table service restaurant, and Tangierine Cafe failed to reopen with the rest of Disney World. We’ve recently seen Tangierine Cafe being used as a food both for EPCOT festivals. Hopefully, we will be able to dine at both locations again soon.
Guests looking for an extremely high-end sushi experience will be saddened to learn that Takumi-Tei is closed in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion. Known for its omakase experience and Wagyu beef, Takumi-Tei is a dining location like no other in Disney World.
Unfortunately, Disney hasn’t shared when any of these EPCOT eateries might reopen once again, but you can be sure we’ll be keeping an eye out.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Neighborhood Bakery is a kiosk located in Pixar Place that normally serves frozen slushes and snacks including the Num Num Cookie.
Although it didn’t reopen with the parks and remains closed, don’t worry — you can still get the beloved Num Num Cookie at the nearby Market. There’s no word on when the Neighborhood Bakery may reopen, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Several eateries remain closed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Despite the hotel itself having reopened quite a while ago, 1900 Park Fare has yet to open its doors. Known for character dining and buffet-style service, guests looking for a character meal at the Grand Floridian will have to look elsewhere.
Victoria & Albert’s is a AAA five-diamond rated restaurant that can take your Disney World vacation to another level. Boasting 8 to 12-course meals and wine pairings, you can’t dine at this spot just yet. Luckily, Disney has announced that Victoria & Albert’s will reopen on July 28, 2022! Advance Dining Reservations are now open.
Did you know there’s a place on Disney World property where you can have Afternoon Tea? Well, right now there isn’t because Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Room hasn’t returned just yet. It used to be offered from 12PM to 4PM daily.
Guests could experience international teas and British Cuisine while gazing out at gorgeous gardens. We’ll let you know if we hear of any updates!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort
ESPN Club used to be a truly incredible sports fan experience complete with game-day eats, televisions, and even video games at your table. When Disney World began its phased reopening, no news was shared on whether this spot would open back up. Disney is still keeping us in the dark, as ESPN Club remains closed with no signs of reopening.
If you’re looking for a funnel cake at Disney’s BoardWalk — you’re out of luck. The Funnel Cake Cart has been closed since the parks were shut down, and we haven’t heard a peep about it since.
The BoardWalk is set to undergo quite the transformation sometime in Disney’s future, so maybe that will include an update on the Funnel Cake Cart.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Last, but certainly not least — Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort was closed when we initially published this post. However, Hoop-Dee-Doo reopened on June 23rd!
This hootin’ and hollerin’ good time dinner show has been loved by many Disney fans for decades, and we are so excited that it’s BACK.
Check Out the Changes Announced for Hoop-Dee-Doo Here
Despite these locations still being closed, there are so many other great options for dining in Disney World! Some of our favorites are Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom — but there are so many more!

Restaurant Marrakesh is one of our favorites. We miss it, but instead went to Spice Road Table. Delicious food and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Loved sitting right by the water, felt so relaxing. Still, I’ll be waiting for Marrakesh, hopefully by the fall!
