There is so much going on at Disney World right now!
The 50th anniversary celebrations, a new ride opening, Flower and Garden Festival, new merchandise, big crowds — we could go on and on. With everything happening, new things can sometimes go unnoticed, but that’s why we’re here! We pay attention to EVERYTHING new at Disney World to bring you all the updates. So, let’s go see what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Isle of Java
The Irish Coffee is BACK at Isle of Java! We’ve had different versions of this before, and the one that has returned over here is Joffrey’s coffee French roast (which you can get hot or cold) with Bailey’s Irish cream Liqueur and whipped cream.
You can get it for $13.

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
DinoLand U.S.A.
TriceraTop Spin was closed for refurbishment last week, but reopened on Saturday, June 18th.
However, on Monday (June 20th) the ride was once again showing that it’s closed. We’ll keep an eye on the situation to see when it reopens and let you know!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Discovery Trading Company
Over in Discovery Trading Company, we found the Flower and Garden Crocs! So, you don’t even have to go to EPCOT to get some fun gardening merch.
You can get these for $47.99.
Ziwani Traders
We found a new cheetah hoodie in Ziwani Traders that’s pretty cool! It comes in adult sizes for $54.99…
…and youth sizes for $34.99.
We’re loving how stylish this one is!
Windtraders
Over in Windtraders in Pandora, we saw a new towel for $26.99.
Here’s what it looks like when it’s fully unfolded — it’s a circle!
There is also a new glow-in-the-dark Pandora V-neck T-shirt available for $36.99!
That was everything new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom lately! Do note that it has been rather hot and rather crowded in the parks recently. Make sure you stay hydrated and try and keep cool with things like fans, cooling towels, and breaks in the air conditioning.
If you want to avoid some of that heat as much as possible, we suggest getting to Animal Kingdom as SOON as it opens, which is at 8AM right now for regular guests and at 7:30AM for Disney hotel guests with Early Theme Park Entry. That way, you can beat some of the heat and see the animals when they’re usually the most active!
