A super popular ride has CHANGED in EPCOT!

During the Destination D23 event at Disney World this year, it was announced that Soarin’ Over California would return to EPCOT. It’s been a WHILE since we’ve smelled those fantastic orange groves on this attraction, so we can’t wait to check it out!
Soarin’ Over California has officially returned to EPCOT for a limited time! Come with us to The Land Pavilion to check it out.

When we got to EPCOT this morning, we noticed that a LOT of people were visiting the park. Everyone’s excited about all the 100th Anniversary changes!

When we arrived at Soarin’, the wait was already at 65 minutes. We’re expecting it to just get longer throughout the day, so if you’re hoping to ride this old-new attraction, make sure to head here first thing.

You start off by soaring through the clouds, then soon find yourself flying high over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge!

You travel all over California, getting to see the coast, the mountains, ski areas, and even waterfalls. Of course, you soar over the orange groves and smell all the delicious fruit, too! Can you smell them through your screen?

The ride ends at Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland, with Tinker Bell leading you to the castle.

Of course, it’s not over without fireworks; this is Disney, after all!

When we got off the ride, everyone around us was talking about the amazing smells and how great it is to have the original ride back! Disney hasn’t announced how long Soarin’ Over California will stick around in EPCOT, so make sure to take advantage while it’s here.

We love soarin California !!! Disney Please please keep it !! I really don’t like the new one especially as if you are sat at the sides everything leans ! It’s the Eiffel Tower but looking like it’s falling over !!!
I love the original soaring . The new one is too fake but still fun though. Wish they could rotate them on a regular basis😁
Why not keep Soarin’ over California in DCA and Soarin’ Around the World in Epcot? Makes sense right? Give people something different to see when they visit a different park. Give people a reason to visit a different park. Another reason I question Disneys leadership and decision making.
I wish they would keep Soarin’ over California in Epcot permanently….or maybe offer both since there are multiple theaters? I just don’t like the new one with all the CGI and you have to sit in the center or the top over everything is bent.
Are there any rumors that it will come back to DCA? We always plan a trip when they do that. Love Soarin’ over California best.
