Something special happened in Disney World!

Disney World has some big things going on like new attractions in the works, classic lands closing permanently, and new shows set to hit the stage soon! While all of these things aren’t happening today necessarily, we did happen to spot one major celebrity in Magic Kingdom today.
Magic Kingdom is crowded today with seas of green! In case you missed it, last night the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans. Following the fun Disney tradition, Jalen Hurts, the Eagles quarterback, told us after his big win, he was going to Disney World and it seems like the fans followed him.

The annual Super Bowl parade is back in Magic Kingdom at Disney World this year after being in Disneyland in 2024. Eagles fans were lining the walkways early this morning hoping to get a glimpse at Jalen Hurts as the parade’s main event.

The parade began at 2:30 today kicking off in Frontierland before ending on Main Street, U.S.A. This tradition of shouting out Disney after the Super Bowl dates all the way back to 1987 with New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms. Haven’t we all pretended to say “I’m going to Disney World!” at least once in the mirror?

Jalen Hurts led the Eagles in a 40-22 victory over Patrick Mahomes, who was featured in the Super Bowl parade last year in Disneyland. Hurts and Mahomes previously faced off in the Super Bowl in 2023 as well where Mahomes was the winning quarterback.

This year, Jalen Hurts brought his family along to join in on the Disney fun. They enjoyed different Disney attractions and met with a few Disney friends while they enjoyed the special celebrations!

Jalen isn’t the only celebrity we’ve spotted in Disney World recently. Several NFL players, former players, and other celebs have been spotted having fun in the parks. Celebrities! They’re Disney Adults just like us.
We love any time we get to experience something special and unique in the Disney parks and this was no exception. Congratulations to Jalen Hurts and the Eagles on their big win. We hope he enjoyed his Disney day!
