In 2027, ESPN is hosting Super Bowl LXI, and they are wasting no time preparing. The day after the Seahawks beat the Patriots at Super Bowl LX, Disney and ESPN dropped their first campaign called “We’re Going!” It’s over a year away, but this has made us so excited!
Something BIG just happened in Disneyland…and we got to be there for it!
The Super Bowl Parade!
Now, there are some big things already happening in Disneyland, including some expansions, a new land, and a new ride. But today was the day of a rare parade. Yep, today was the annual Disney Super Bowl parade, complete with celebrities and everything!
It’s almost time for the BIG GAME! That’s right, we’re football fans in this virtual house, and we are only a few days away from Super Bowl LX.

The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will be battling it out on the field, and while we are excited to see who takes home the Vince Lombardi Trophy, it’s not what we’re looking forward to the most. Like most people watching the game, we are tuning in for those iconic commercials! Universal is already giving us what we’re craving because they’ve dropped their Super Bowl Ad early.
Even if you’re not into sports, you’re probably aware of the Super Bowl, which is the BIGGEST game of the year when it comes to American football (and American advertising, because many of us watch just for the commercials). For those who are playing the game, winning a Super Bowl Championship is a big cause to celebrate, and the players on the winning team are often asked what they’ll do after winning. Their answer? “I’m going to Disneyland.”

Well, Disney also wants to celebrate that win, and every year, there’s a special Super Bowl parade that happens a day after the game to celebrate the winning team in either Disneyland or Disney World, depending on the host city of the Super Bowl. Well, this year, Disneyland has confirmed that the 2026 Super Bowl Parade will happen there on February 9th.

Disney World has some big things going on like new attractions in the works, classic lands closing permanently, and new shows set to hit the stage soon! While all of these things aren’t happening today necessarily, we did happen to spot one major celebrity in Magic Kingdom today.

…the winner is going to a Disney park! Just like the iconic commercial would have you believe, players from the winning Super Bowl team typically make their way to either Disney World or Disneyland for the Super Bowl parade, and this year, it’s taking place in Disney World!
Disney+ has a commercial teed up to air during the Super Bowl!

This year’s ad focuses on the company’s three major streaming platforms — Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ — featuring anchor franchises and programming from all three. As per AdWeek, a 30-second cut of the spot will air during the Fox broadcast of Super Bowl LIX, sometime near the end of the first quarter or beginning of the second, depending on gameplay’s effect on ad-break placement times. A minute-long cut is currently available on YouTube and other social platforms.
Yay, sports! Go team! We’re getting ready for the big game next Sunday and we know we’re not the only ones…but we weren’t quite expecting these guys to get in on the fun!
