It’s official — Disney is building a seventh landmark theme park in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This announcement comes as The Walt Disney Company announced a partnership with Miral, “Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.”

The waterfront resort will be located on Yas Island, a world-class destination for entertainment and leisure, connecting travelers from the Middle East and Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and beyond. This seventh Disney theme park resort will combine Disney’s iconic stories, characters and attractions with Abu Dhabi’s vibrant culture, stunning shorelines, and breathtaking architecture.
This new Disney resort will be located on Yas Island, a spot known for entertainment and tourism. The island is already home to a few other, smaller theme parks, which begs the question — what sort of intellectual property (IP) will Disney bring to its brand new park?

We previously reported that HB 535 was making its way through the Florida State House and had passed its first committee approval. The bill would make it easier for restaurants or hotels to remove someone who is not paying their bill. The bill would also “ban automatic gratuity and service charges for parties of fewer than six guests at restaurants, cafes, and other food service establishments.” It would also not require automatic gratuity for parties of more than six guests for those who complain to a manager about the quality of service. Now, we have an update on that bill.
