In just a few days, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will begin!
The Festival of the Holidays is Almost Here!
The Festival will run from November 26th through December 30th and will feature food, entertainment, fun activities, and more! We’ve already shared lots of details about the festival and the full booth menus, but today we noticed that EPCOT itself is getting ready for the festivities!
There is lots to see and do all around EPCOT.

EPCOT
Earlier today, as we were walking around EPCOT, we found something surprising and fun that guests could participate in!
Quite a few new things arrived in Disney World as part of the 50th Anniversary — a new nighttime spectacular in EPCOT, a new fireworks show in Magic Kingdom, beautiful nighttime transformations of the park icons, and the KiteTails show in Animal Kingdom!

Well, if you’ve been hoping to see KiteTails (which, truly, is quite the experience), but don’t want to stand in the traditional standby line and enter through the regular entrance, then there’s something special you might want to take advantage of!
Holiday celebrations are in full swing in Disney World with holiday decorations and treats for guests to enjoy.
Holidays in the Magic Kingdom
But, with the holidays comes something else…crowds. With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we noticed that the holiday crowds have definitely arrived in the parks.
If you’re planning a visit to Disney World soon, there are a lot of things to consider, including Park Pass reservations, hotel reservations, buying your tickets, and more.

But, things might have just gotten a bit more complicated. Recently, we shared that sales for select Annual Passes have been suspended. Now, we’ve gotten an update about how the purchase of certain park tickets may also be limited.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance continues to be an incredibly popular ride in the Disney parks.

In Disney World, the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance has currently been suspended, but guests hoping to ride this attraction in Disneyland still need to grab one of those elusive boarding groups. But, soon, things in Disneyland might be changing!
There are all kinds of hidden Mickeys, secret details, and more to discover in the Disney theme parks.

And it seems no matter how many times you visit, there are constantly new things to see. Today we learned about and got the chance to see a VERY special item that recently got added to one part of a very underrated spot in Magic Kingdom!
