food IS a theme park
Although some of the restaurants at the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT were open when we first visited EPCOT after the reopening, Tangerine Cafe has since closed.
Now, the story surrounding the Morocco pavilion continues to develop.
This year, Disney World has introduced The Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which blends aspects from the Food and Wine and Flower and Garden Festivals.
Even if things are a little different this year, there’s still PLENTY of food to be had! And luckily, we have a few recipes so we can make some of these goodies at home.
It’s not even Halloween and we’re already thinking about hot cocoa and Christmas trees! Can you really blame us?
Walt Disney World JUST announced what Christmas will look like at the theme parks! EPCOT’s International Festival of Holidays is making a return, Cinderella Castle is getting a makeover, and there will be holiday snacks aplenty. Now, you can’t have all these holiday goodies without Mickey wreaths and Christmas trees! Here’s when Disney is planning on decorating for Christmas this year!
In mid-June Disney World announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be canceled this year.
But, uncertainty still remained over Christmastime offerings like Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and Candlelight Processional.
We’ve had Halloween on our minds today, but now we suddenly have reason to think Christmas!
We were busy eating our way through all of the Halloween snacks in Disney World when Disney decided to drop a MAJOR Christmas news bomb! There’s good news and bad news. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not returning this year but EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is ON.
Currently, EPCOT is undergoing a grand and miraculous transformation.
One part of this transformation is the addition of a new section to the France pavilion that will be home to the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, as well as a new crêperie called La Crêperie de Paris.
One of the best parts of exploring EPCOT is getting to check out all of the fun and unique merchandise from the different World Showcase pavilions.
The Japan pavilion is no exception there! Whether you’re looking for a dried crab snack or some skincare masks that will turn you into a cat, dog, or baby (what?!), there are all kinds of cool items in the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan pavilion. Recently, we noticed that some of the spooky season spirit had spilled into this store and we spotted some cute characters dressed for Halloween!
As you might’ve heard, EPCOT’s France Pavilion is getting a pretty big upgrade!
Not only is France going to see an entirely new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, but the Pavilion will also see the addition of a new quick-service/table-service dining location. La Creperie de Paris is set to serve a selection of yummy crepes in what’s turning into an adorable setting. And now the new spot has a sign!
EPCOT has given us some amazing shows and spectaculars over the years. Yep, we still miss you Illuminations!
If you’ve been keeping an eye out for EPCOT merch lately, you’ve probably noticed that a series of RETRO limited-edition EPCOT posters has been slowly releasing online for some time now. These are the very same designs featured in the EPCOT Experience! Well, good news, another round of posters were released today and this time they’re ALL about World Celebration!
We have some great news for guests visiting Disney World over the holiday weekend!
Leading up to Labor Day weekend, Disney Park Pass reservations were completely booked for all four parks for several days in a row. But now, park availability has opened back up!
