Best of the Fest: What to Eat at the 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts!
The second annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts kicked off TODAY!
This still-new Festival debuted in 2017, celebrating the Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts. And you can enjoy it in Epcot every day now through February 19th!
The Culinary Arts are primarily celebrated through the event’s Food Booths. Like the Marketplace Booths for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, Food Studios bring enhanced food offerings to Festival guests, but with a unique focus on presentation for the dishes. And today we’ve got our Best of the Fest!

News: Kringla Bakeri in Epcot’s Norway Closing Soon for Refurbishment
According to wdwmagic, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion will close on February 4th to begin a refurbishment.
When the refurbishment is complete this summer, guests will be able to enjoy an expanded Kringla Bakeri.
News: Limited Pilot Program Gives Select Resort Guests the Opportunity to Purchase Theme Park Extras
A limited time pilot program launching on January 12th allows guests who are eligible for Disney Signature Services to purchase a Theme Park Extra for $50 (plus tax) per person in their traveling party per day. In order to participate, these guests must have purchased a theme park ticket for a minimum of three days (or an annual pass).
What’s included in the theme parks extras? According to the language used to promote the offering:

Three additional FastPass+ selections per day. FastPass+ attractions and entertainment experiences, the number of selections you can make and available arrival windows are limited.

The opportunity to reserve these three additional FastPass+ selections in more than one theme park when a valid Park Hopper option is also purchased with the ticket.

A booking window of up to 90 days in advance for these three additional FastPass+ selections and the ability to book them at multiple top-tier attractions. Guests may not repeat the same FastPass+ attraction during a single day.

Preferred viewing location for nighttime spectaculars, one per day, including Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom®Park, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot®, Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® and Rivers of Light at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Advanced reservation is required and availability of each nighttime spectacular preferred viewing location is limited.
Selected guests are also reminded that: “All theme park Guests with valid theme park admission continue to receive up to three FastPass+ selections at a single park per day at no extra charge, as well as additional day-of in-park selections that may be reserved and redeemed one-at-a-time after those initial three selections are redeemed.” [Read more…]

has been a staple in Disney Springs since it opened in 2005, and from day one, Master Chef Kevin Dundon has been wowing guests with his eclectic Irish menu. So it’s definitely a sad day in Disney food news as we report that the Chef has left the building.

The 2018 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival will be ON from March 2 – April 12, 2018!
But the time to start getting ready is NOW… Special Event information is now available for the Festival, and the booking engine is loaded with opportunities to reserve your space NOW for Signature Events, Culinary Demonstrations, and Beverage Seminars.
You can also check out experiences that don’t require reservations, such as Family-Friendly Seminars and the returning Jr. Chef experience for kids ages 3 to 11.
