Since its opening a quarter century ago, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney World’s only hotel directly themed to one of its theme parks, has been one of the most popular resorts thanks to the Deluxe Tier accommodations, the live animals that graze in the resort’s savannas, and some of the best dining on property.

TWO Major Disney World Hotel Closures Start Today

Construction is still all over Disney World, practically everywhere you look, and if there’s one thing we just learned from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it’s that it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

NEWS: Disney Files NEW Permit for Animal Kingdom Lodge Construction

A LOT is happening in Disney World right now, and we’re SO excited.

Animal Kingdom is getting a new Tropical Americans-themed land, Pueblo Esperanza, which will replace Dinoland, U.S.A. Magic Kingdom is getting a Cars expansion in Frontierland AND a new Villains-themed land. Hollywood Studios is getting a new land devoted to Monsters, Inc. Disney World hotels are also getting new restaurants and updates. Now, we’ve just spotted a sign that something will soon be happening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
