Every day brings us just a bit closer to the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
And we’re getting to the point where nearly each week is starting to reveal a bit more information about the Festival as well.
Take, for instance, the 2018 Low-Cost Seminars and Demonstrations — Beverage Seminars, Culinary Demonstrations, and the new Food & Beverage Pairings among them.

But now, most of those items have been filled in!
So if the dates you are planning to visit the Food & Wine Festival had some previously undetermined events, be sure to look over the Low-Cost Seminars and Demonstrations Page here to see if your dates have been updated so you can make sure you’re making the most of all of your Festival options! Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is returning once again for September 2018! Sponsored by Visit Orlando, this annual event begins with a preview week starting August 24th and runs through September 30th. Magical Dining offers Orlando locals and guests the chance to enjoy the Orlando culinary scene at a significant savings: $35 for three courses at participating area restaurants. Over 100 restaurants will be offering the prix fixe dinners, which include appetizer, entree, and dessert.
In keeping with tradition, one dollar from each meal goes to support local charities. Best Buddies and Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida are the two charities for 2018.
For a complete list of participating restaurants and Magical Dining Month menus, head over to Visit Orlando’s website. And to see all of the restaurants at Disney World and in the immediate Lake Buena Vista area, click here.
As in previous years, several Disney World restaurants are participating! New additions for 2018 are Terralina Crafted Italian and Wine Bar George.

Confession time: I love spooning up some raw cookie dough and eating it as is. Straight up.
And I KNOW I’m not the only one out there. The Cookie Dough Craze started ages ago — most likely in the privacy of people’s own kitchens long before it became an actual, bona fide thing with the glorious introduction of Cookie Dough Ice Cream into the world so many years ago.
Well, guess what? You can still take care of your cookie dough cravings even while you’re in Disney World, far away from your own refrigerator. Wanna know where? Here’s a (PRETTY BIG) hint… [Read more…]
