With Thanksgiving just a few short days away, the holiday season is getting kicked into high gear.
Holidays in Magic Kingdom
With the holiday season comes dense CROWDS, as folks are headed to the parks to celebrate. On November 20th, we saw these crowds show up in full force. Genie+ was at the record-high price of $35, and STILL sold out for Magic Kingdom and for the Multi-Park option. Oh, and Park Pass Reservations filled up for Magic Kingdom. After heading into the park the morning of November 20th, we found out just how REAL those crowds were.
Piecing together what’s next for Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is starting to feel like one giant string board that we’re all feverishly trying to follow.

The Disney World gingerbread displays have been getting built over the last several weeks!

Disney’s Grand Floridian, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Contemporary, and BoardWalk Inn have all had their gingerbread sculptures completed and open for business! You know we have to try the snacks all over Disney World so of course when we stopped by to visit the gingerbread BoardWalk Deli, we grabbed a couple of sweet treats.
The holidays are in full swing in Disney World!
Christmas in EPCOT!
We have already been eyeing a LOT of holiday merchandise, checking out all the decorations in the parks, and waiting until we can get our hands on exclusive festival eats. Well, we have ANOTHER reason to be excited now: food booths have started popping up in EPCOT for the Festival of the Holidays!

Today is a sold-out day in Magic Kingdom and we’re noticing lots and lots of people! This is causing long lines and sold-out Individual Lightning Lanes. Now, we’ve noticed another service has sold out.
It comes as a surprise to literally no one that one of our favorite things to do at Disney World is EAT.

It probably comes as a surprise to no one, though, as folks are headed to the theme parks to celebrate the holiday season and some much-needed time away from school and work. That being said, the parks get pretty crowded. It’s something we expect every single year, but that doesn’t make it any less of a punch in the gut when we’re greeted with those dense crowds and soaring wait times.
