Universal Orlando is getting set to open Epic Universe on May 22nd (and you can check out our preview here), but the company isn’t slowing down in bringing new theme parks to the WORLD.

Universal is busy constructing Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, for example. Plus there’s a whole new Universal horror experience coming to Las Vegas. But the company isn’t close to done — a new Universal theme park was recently announced for a theme park just outside of London, and according to the BBC, it looks like that theme park could have a Lord of the Rings land. WAIT? WHAT?
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most beloved Disney classic rides.

Now, it’s no secret that if you’ve been on Pirates of the Caribbean in both Disney World and Disneyland, you’ll understand that there are some differences. Most would even argue that the Disneyland version of the ride is far superior. Well, this ride does tend to be very popular in Disneyland, but if you’re planning on skipping the standby line this weekend for the Lightning Lane, we’ve got some bad news for you. Pirates of the Caribbean is not being offered on Lightning Lane Multi Pass right now.
As air travel becomes more expensive — and at least in perception — less safe, some younger travelers are re-embracing bus ridership as an alternative.

As a slew of price increases, baggage policy changes, and high-profile accidents have caused bad press for the aviation industry over the last couple of years, numbers have steadily risen for commercial bus transportation. According to a spokesperson for FlixBus (the parent company of Greyhound), “ridership across the Greyhound and FlixBus network grew by a double-digit percentage year-over-year” in 2024. This is “compared to 2023, continuing an upward trend.”

Across the pond, though, Disneyland Paris is getting an entirely reimagined park as Walt Disney Studios gets transformed into Disney Adventure World. And adventure is out there in this new park because Disney just dropped some NEW ride news and details…and we’re pretty sure this is going to thrill fans of Up.
A lot is happening in Disney World and Disneyland, but Disney’s international parks are also getting a lot of huge updates.

Over in Disneyland Paris, work is underway to transform Walt Disney Studius Park into Disney Adventure World, which will feature entirely reimagined lands, as well as a land dedicated to The Lion King. Now, we’ve heard a little bit about some of the progress being made on Adventure World, but Disneyland Paris just dropped a TON of details about Adventure World, as well as other big plans being made for the resort.
