That’s why we’re always looking for ways to make it easier to navigate. But when we recently used one of our favorite TSA PreCheck hacks, we learned firsthand that it can actually have an unexpected downside if you’re not careful!

Airport security has changed dramatically over the past few years, and it can be tough to keep up. Maybe you don’t know what you’re allowed to pack. Do you still need to take your shoes off? Does your laptop need to stay in your bag? What’s the deal with ID? The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been changing the airport experience at a pretty rapid pace, and some of the biggest changes aren’t necessarily the ones you’ll hear about when you book your flight.
There are SO many rules for traveling through an airport that it’s hard to keep track of them all!

Getting through airport security is one of the least fun parts of air travel. Often, you’re forced to deal with long lines, crowded terminals, and navigation confusion that can make getting through the checkpoint a real pain. However, over the past couple of years, we’ve seen the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) change protocol significantly and even test brand-new options, like this NEW offering on the East Coast of the United States.
TSA PreCheck just made getting through airport security even easier, and this update is a big deal for frequent flyers.

Homeland Security funding lapsed in mid-February due to a standoff between Republicans and Democrats over federal immigration reform.
