Disney World resumed Annual Pass sales for all types earlier in 2023 and has announced some exciting perks for Passholders coming later this year. V.I.P. PASSHOLDER Days will take place this year and offer limited-time discounts and more for Passholders in Disney World starting in June. There will be a NEW magnet, new photo ops, and other perks, but one benefit, in particular, caught our eye.
Now is a great time to be a Disney World Annual Passholder! Passes recently went on sale again for the first time in a while, and if you snatched one up we’ve got some great news to share.

Not only has Disney announced that park pass reservations will be going away for APs on select days in the coming months, but V.I.Passholder Days were just announced, too! Plus, passholders will want to keep an eye out, because a new AP magnet is coming soon!

There have been a lot of updates to the park pass reservation system as of late, the biggest being that, starting April 18th, Annual Passholders can enter the parks after 2PM without having a park pass reservation! We went ahead and tried it and we’re thrilled to let you know it worked without issue! But now we have an update on how this new system works with Magic Kingdom’s newest ride — TRON Lightcycle / Run!

Well, almost! Disney World recently announced that Annual Passes would be going on sale — this is the first time in a long time that visitors will have the option to purchase any pass. Annual Pass sales were originally paused after the COVID-19 park closures in 2020 and after resuming sales in September 2021, they were paused again in November 2021 for most pass types. Now we know EXACTLY when you can buy that new Annual Pass!
The park pass reservation system is…controversial to say the least.
