Remember that video from months ago that teased some new Disney Imagineering tech for characters? It looked like a human-controlled mechanical puppet, and the internet (or at least us Disney people) went crazy! Well, during Disney’s D23 event, we got some more information on this new technology, officially called “Project EXO.” (Even the NAME is cool!)

Plans for a new 900-room deluxe resort at Disney World called Reflections — A Disney Lakeside Lodge were announced last year.

The nature-themed accommodations were to be situated on the shoreline of Bay Lake, tucked between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and clearing of the land had already commenced.
We have to hand it to Disney, they definitely know how to get our attention!
