When it comes to sweepstakes and giveaways, we always try to keep our lovely readers informed on when and how they can enter to win some pretty cool stuff.
From stays in Cinderella’s Castle to Disney vacation giveaways, there are all sorts of sweepstakes that you can enter. However, there’s a new giveaway that we came across and we think that it’s way better than a Cinderella Castle Suite stay or a fully-paid Disney vacation. It’s a giant meatball. ❤️
When it comes to beloved Magic Kingdom rides, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is at the top of the list for many.
Located in Frontierland, the western ghost town-themed coaster is a great choice for those looking for a family-friendly ride. Plus, it’s one of our FAVORITE places to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks each night. If you’ll be visiting Disney World in January, though, you might not be able to ride the attraction…
EPCOT has had a BIG week!
On December 5th, an all-new land opened in EPCOT, allowing visitors access to the World Celebration Gardens. Not only that, but a new Walt Disney statue debuted, Luminous: Symphony of Us lit up the skies for the first time, AND we got to check out the return of the glowing sidewalks! Only one thing was missing… the new festival area! CommuniCore Hall and Plaza were meant to debut in late 2023, but we found out in early December that the new festival areas would not be available until 2024. While we were disappointed, we were holding on to hope that it would be complete in EARLY 2024 — based on the visual state of the construction. Let’s check it out!
It’s not uncommon for celebrities and public figures to vacation at the Disney Parks.
Yep, we’ve seen our fair share of celebs in the Disney Parks, whether it be for filming purposes, Candelight Processional narration, or even just for their own personal vacations! We even saw a celebrity hanging out at a popular Disney World resort on December 12th!

The Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo Disneyland will mark the LARGEST expansion the park has seen.
Set to debut on June 6th, 2024, the all-new Fantasy Springs area will feature rides, attractions, restaurants, and more. What’s even better? Well, the expansion will include a new lodging option — the Fantasy Springs Hotel. We didn’t know much about the hotel other than the fact that it would also open on June 6th, but now, we’ve gotten some NEW details.
On the heels of the news that Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) employees got quite the shock of a massive outstanding tax bill recently for previous benefits from Disney, we’ve learned of another update!

Disney vs. DeSantis
Disney filed a federal lawsuit against DeSantis and members of the board in early 2023 arguing that Disney’s federal rights to free speech have been violated. Disney claims that DeSantis has waged a “relentless campaign to weaponize government power” against Disney to punish them for their political views.
We’ve seen Governor Ron DeSantis’ team attempt to dismiss the Disney lawsuit previously (actually twice already); however, it seems they’ve made plans for one more attempt for a federal judge to decide on very soon. [Read more…]
If you’ve ever driven to Magic Kingdom, you know that it can be a pain!
The Magic Kingdom parking lot, otherwise known as the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) is actually over a mile away from the park itself. Once you park, you’ll have to take a tram to the front of the TTC (or walk if you feel like getting those steps in), go through security, and then board either a Monorail or a ferryboat to ride the remainder of the distance to the entrance. But those doing this process today might have a big hurdle to jump.
