Is Epcot’s World Showcase Wine Walk Being Discontinued?

Epcot’s World Showcase Wine Walk has been something of a hidden gem for many years.

This program allowed guests to enjoy six pours of wine by stopping at three designated locations in World Showcase — the Germany Pavilion’s Weinkeller, Italy’s La Bottega Italia, and France’s Aux Vins de France — offering two pours each for a fixed price.

Over the years, though, it’s gone from a GREAT deal at $20, to an OK deal at $32. However, during our time today in Epcot, we learned from Cast Members that the wine walk may have been discontinued.  [Read more…]

Report: Disneyland Revokes Annual Passes of Guests Who Resell Park Souvenirs at Profit

According to The Orange County Register, Disneyland has been revoking annual passes of passholders who buy park merchandise, then resell the items to individuals or online.

The Orange County Register states that this news is “according to observers and people who say it happened to them.”

The report continues that “observers say that Disney appears to have aggressively targeted these resellers, canceling their annual passes under a provision in the passholder contract that bans people from using their discounts and then reselling items they purchased inside the parks.” [Read more…]

Breaking: Disney World Switches to Date-Based Ticket Pricing. Find Out How It Affects YOU!

Disney World will be moving to date-based pricing for theme park tickets starting October 16, 2018. This means that tickets will be priced differently depending on the day you visit.

The new system will:

  • Assign each individual calendar day a specific ticket price (each day will reflect a different price based on various factors like crowd levels)
  • Use an interactive calendar for ticket purchasing, and to show guests the highest and lowest ticket prices within a given month or year
  • Offer guests the option to upgrade to a ticket with a “flexible start date” for an added cost.

How To Purchase Disney World Tickets Using The New Date-Based Pricing System:

Starting October 16th, guests wishing to purchase Disney World tickets will be able to access the new system via DisneyWorld.com or the My Disney Experience app.

2019 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

In addition to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening in late 2019, we’ll welcome Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez via Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in Spring 2019 (Cruz may even have her own meet and greet!), Mickey and Minnie barrel in on Mickey’s Runaway Railway, and even more characters will join in the fun at the studios!

We’ve just heard that Sweet Spells will be closing permanently later this month to make way for a Pixar merchandise location.

Sweet Spells has served traditional Disney park snacks such as Mickey-shaped Krispy Treats, Cake Pops, Fudge, and more over the years. It’s one of the spots where you can see specialty Caramel Apples being decorated, and it added a line of Whoopie Pies unique to the location a couple of years ago.

There were near riots over the Beauty and the Beast Rose Tumbler a few months back. And we’re loving the Pirates Skull Mug — with Dole Whip of course.
