Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and the Disneyland hotels are full to the brim with sweet snacks like Gingerbread Man Cookies and Snowman Shortbread Cookies.
Hooray! Dates have been announced for the return of Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure! From November 10, 2017 through January 7, 2018 — as part of the Holidays at Disneyland Resort — the Festival of Holidays celebrates the season with special entertainment, music, and FOOD!

The very first Festival of Holidays debuts in Disney California Adventure on November 10th! AAAAAH! Heather and I are SO EXCITED!
Part of the celebration — which will also include live music and dance performances, beautiful decorations, and a special holiday version of the World of Color nighttime spectacular — is the addition of FOURTEEN festive marketplaces (wha?!?!?) featuring global holiday cuisine!

With all the additional eats, it will likely be well worth it — much like the Epcot Food and Wine Festival — to study up on the various booth menus before your visit. So it’s a good thing they’ve just been released!

It was a HAPPY DAY when it was announced that the Disney California Food & Wine Festival would return to the Disneyland Resort for 2016 after a four year hiatus. Running on weekends throughout April 2016, it was a much-welcome celebration of food, wine, and the culinary scene in California.

This past weekend marked the first time the Disneyland has celebrated Dia de Reyes, also know as Three Kings Day. This special event is celebrated at the end of the Christmas season marking the occasion when the three kings, or three wise men, followed the star to Bethlehem to deliver their riches to the Christ child.

Disneyland celebrated the event in Frontierland with special menu items, activities, performances, and character greetings. We started our day off at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante for a holiday feast.

The restaurant was offering four special menu items for the event: a Tamale Platter, a Carne Asada/Tamale Platter, a Sweet Corn Tamale dessert, and Mexican Hot Chocolate.
