Disneyland has been busy with news lately like hotel refurbishments, restaurant updates, and more! While we’ve been trying to keep up with it all, we got a bit hungry so we’re trying out a new addition to one of our favorite sweet treats.

I mean, we are the Disney FOOD Blog after all, and over the years, we’ve tried thousands of snacks in the Disney parks. But sometimes, we just want to go back to the classics — the treats you find at snack carts on Main Street, U.S.A. or in bakery cases around the park. And when we found out that Disneyland Park was doing a new version of a classic treat, we just had to get our hands on it!
Disney Food Blog specializes in a lot of different Disney news, but something we’ve been focused on for the longest time — about 15 years! — is in our name: Disney food!
We love Disney food!
We have a HUGE passion for all things Disney food here, and that means we’ve tried some amazing snacks and dining locations over the years and have also told you all about the ones we don’t recommend spending your time and money on. We’ll continue to do so for the years to come because things are pretty much always changing in the Disney parks. But we have to be honest with you — after all these years of reviewing Disney food, we have TWO wildly controversial opinions that you’ll either completely agree with or want to yell at your phone.
Ah, the Choco Taco. It’s the stuff of childhood, neighborhood ice cream truck nostalgia.

The Choco Taco is (according to it’s label) a “Dessert Taco! It’s Genius!” After disappearing from ice cream trucks and grocery shelves in 2022, the Choco Taco is back in 2024 at some Taco Bell restaurants. Which is, also, genius. Now a brand-new restaurant in Downtown Disney has introduced a fancy, grown-up “Choco Taco,” and, well, you just know we were gonna try it for ya!

The God of Mischief, Loki, is back in a new season of his namesake show on Disney+.

With the second season of the hit show premiering, we’ve seen a lot of Loki merchandise and McDonald’s has even partnered with the show, re-designing an entire store to take on a Loki theme. One Disney park is even celebrating the show with a new snack and you know we had to try it out.
