Disney World likes to celebrate the holidays a little early, and by early, we mean Halloween in August! Magic Kingdom will soon be gearing up to host Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but preparations for the party may start popping up sooner than you would think!
Yeah, yeah, we know it’s not even officially summer yet, but we’re already pumped about Halloween in Disney World!

For 2024, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is returning to Magic Kingdom and we’re going to have a BLAST with trick-or-treating, specialty entertainment, rare character meets, and low wait times for rides. And if you’re planning a trip to the Halloween party this year, then today may be an important day for you!

Halloween Time
Yep, that’s right, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom this year with all the old favorites, from entertainment to trick-or-treating to character meets. Part of that list includes Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks, and if you want a great view for the show, we’ve got an important update!
We had a great time on the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World. There were tons of new treats to try, ride overlays to test out, and guest costumes galore. However, not everything went exactly to plan.

While we were there, the first Boo-to-You Parade got rained out, the fireworks show was delayed, and one of the Hocus Pocus shows was delayed as well. We’re LIVE at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season in Magic Kingdom. This party is finally BACK after a 2-year hiatus, and we’re loving all the treats, characters, costumes, and trick-or-treating. But the night hasn’t gone perfectly so far — the party hit a couple of bumps in the road!
