Christmas at Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom during the holidays
The weather is getting cooler and we’re all starting to feel the shift in seasons. As more leaves fall and the days get shorter, we start to anticipate the coming holiday season. Well, shopDisney is helping us feel that cozy holiday spirit with more Disney holiday collection items that we can’t help but love.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Magic Kingdom during the holidays
Okay, it’s actually only October, but Disney is already gearing up for the holidays. Christmas merch has arrived in Disney World, booths have been confirmed for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and a new holiday party is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year. Now, Star Wars fans have a new way to celebrate — a holiday collection just dropped on shopDisney!
Happy ho-ho-holidays! Wait…was that too soon?
Hollywood Studios Christmas Decorations
Okay, yeah, we know that Halloween hasn’t even come and gone yet, but Disney’s getting hyped for the holiday season and so are we! If you want to be ahead of the curve with holiday plans, you’ve got to start prepping months in advance…especially if you’re looking to get some fun new souvenirs.
Okay, we don’t want to alarm you, but IT’S REALLY HAPPENING.
Well, time to buy more Loungeflys.
The holiday season isn’t THAT far away (yes, we realize it’s not even Halloween yet, but y’all know how the holidays always sneak up on you). We’ve already started to see Disney holiday merchandise pop up online, so we’re not TOO surprised that Loungefly’s new holiday collection is available for pre-order through Entertainment Earth. But wait until you see these bags.
Update: Though heavy construction continues on the exterior of the hotel, it seems that the construction within the lobby has ended and the construction walls have been removed.
Could one of the most ICONIC holiday displays in Disney World be in danger this year?
Grand Floridian Lobby at Christmastime
The holiday season typically brings a number of unique decorations and celebrations to Disney World. At EPCOT, 2023 will bring the return of the International Festival of the Holidays. This year, we’ll also see the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the start of the NEW Disney Jollywood Nights party. The holiday fun extends beyond the parks with decor, snacks, and more at Disney Springs and Disney’s hotels. But we’re very worried about one particularly iconic holiday display this year…
Disney World is certainly a magical place, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hit some bumps in the road at times!
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Rides can go down unexpectedly, shows can get canceled or delayed due to weather issues or other problems, and more unexpected problems can arise. But we have to admit that what happened on a recent visit might be the BEST issue we’ve ever seen happen in Disney World.
There’s a BIG holiday coming up in Disney World this week.
Magic Kingdom Train Station
Yep, we’re talking about the Fourth of July, which will bring some new excitement to Disney World. There will be an addition to EPCOT Forever over in EPCOT to celebrate, and Magic Kingdom will have a SPECIAL patriotic fireworks display. There are also special snacks to check out that were made especially for the holiday. However, if you wanted to BE in Magic Kingdom for the fourth, we’ve got some bad news.
Christmas may seem like it’s still months away, but we’re halfway through the year already!
Christmas in Disney World
We just recently got a first look at this year’s holiday merchandise recently and Disney released a clue about this year’s festivities that we’re having a hard time deciphering. If you’re someone who likes to get ahead on all the holiday happenings though, we were taking a look through some of the Disney holiday merchandise that’s already out and compiled a list of the things you’ll be glad you bought NOW and not later! Some items are heavily discounted and others are sure to sell out soon!
