Why do we talk about McDonald’s so much, you may ask?

Well, McDonald’s and Disney have a long history together; there’s literally a McDonald’s on Disney World property, plus we often see Disney-themed Happy Meal toys. If you’re a big fan of the fast food restaurant like we are, you’ll never believe the text message we were just sent.
If you ever catch us NOT eating at Disney World chowing down on Corn Dog Nuggets with Plastic Cheese, eating Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, and enjoying some sweets from Main Street Confectionery, then there’s a good bet we’re having a meal at McDonald’s.
Double the love
We’ve been collecting Happy Meal toys (OBVIOUSLY) but we go there for the food, too. So, when we heard a Double Big Mac was coming to McDonald’s, you KNOW we had to go grab one for ourselves — and we might be writing this from the grave.
Disney food has always been our obsession, but we have acquired a new fascination — McDonald’s Happy Meal toys.
McDonald’s Happy Meal
We collected tons of the Disney100 Happy Meal toys, grabbed a Squishmallow toy, and picked up a Kerwin Frost Box for a nuggie buddy! We have become fans of the red and yellow kids’ meals (because, you know, food), but even more fixated on the cute little toys that come in them. Now that the Squishmallow toys have left the boxes, what has replaced them?!
We have a lot of questions about the world, and we’re sure you do too.

Well, there is a huge McDonald’s on Disney World property. Plus, some of us are old enough to remember getting McDonald’s french fries in the parks. We also spent WAY too much money trying to collect those Disney100 figures from Happy Meals. So, our affinity for the fast food chain is justified, yes? Anyway, we recently learned that a popular McDonald’s breakfast item was returning. We were SO excited…until we learned the truth.
We’ll always consider Disney to be our first love — but McDonald’s is a pretty close second.

It’s no secret that we’re stopping at McDonald’s A LOT, and not just when those Disney100 toys came out with Happy Meals (although we did get a LOT of them). We recently learned that McDonald’s burgers are about to get bigger, but one, in particular, is about to DOUBLE in size.

You know we’ve become big fans of McDonald’s Happy Meals (yes, we realize we are grown adults, but we are kids at heart!). We just can’t help ourselves when they come out with the coolest toys in the fun, red boxes. When they brought us Disney100 toys, we went on a spree to try to collect all 60 of them. And now, for the first time ever, they have come out with new Squishmallow Happy Meal toys! Yes, we RAN to McDonald’s today to make sure we got one.
