After over a YEAR of waiting, the popular coaster is finally reopening in Magic Kingdom! Big openings like this one bring about excitement, crowds, and (without a doubt) changes. We’re breaking down some of the new rules and procedures we might see once the ride finally reopens.
There are lots of popular rides around Disney World for many different reasons, but over in Magic Kingdom, you’ll rarely find one more popular (especially among families) than Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
This family-friendly coaster is tons of fun, isn’t too overwhelming for those not used to coasters, and we love the theming and elements inside. However, if we’re being honest, there are a few things about this ride, or about experiencing this ride, that would make it MUCH better. If we were in charge, these are the NEW rules we’d put in place for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Disney World is CHANGING, and it’s all starting in 2026! New lands, new attractions, new restaurants, and much more are coming to the parks this year. With all these changes happening, it’s no wonder that we Disney Adults need to follow a few new rules this year.

In the 7+ years that I’ve been covering the travel industry, I’ve seen a lot of changes to the way we fly. However, the major changes coming to one of America’s most popular carriers next year just might take the cake and be most surprising to travelers flying for the first time in a while in 2026.

Deemed Test Track 3.0 by many fans — due to it being the third iteration of the attraction, after the late 1990s original and the early 2010s refurbishment — is the latest version of EPCOT’s iconic E-Ticket. Summer 2025 is a time of change at Disney World. Muppet*Vision 3D closed to make way for Monsters, Inc. on June 7th, and the Rivers of America will have its final day of operation on July 6th before making way for Cars. Across the resort, two other beloved attractions are in their final months of operation, while another has returned in an all-new version. On top of that, new experiences — and new rules with them — have arrived as well. With that, here are all the NEW Disney World rules for the summer of 2025.
Things are changing at Hollywood Studios, and there are some new procedures to keep in mind during your next visit.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The park formerly known as Disney/MGM Studios is about to enter a period of massive transformation, as the former Muppets Courtyard — including Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo — is set to close forever in mid-June to make way for a Monsters, Inc. land. However, the Muppets won’t be gone for long, as the characters are moving across the park to take over the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster from Aerosmith. All of these changes are creating a new set of unofficial rules to follow at the park.
Heads up Disney streaming service subscribers! A couple of long in-the-works rule changes are being fully enforced today, March 24th, across Disney’s streaming platforms, including Disney+ and Hulu.

These changes to the terms of service have actually been live for new subscribers since January 27th, and legacy subscribers have had the option to opt into them through a pop-up window since then. If they didn’t, the changes automatically take effect today, March 24th.
