It’s been almost a year since GEO-82 opened in EPCOT, and we are still BIG fans of this gorgeous lounge. Seriously, this bar is just SO COOL.
New drinks alert!
First, it’s a chance to have drinks INSIDE Spaceship Earth, which in and of itself is a pretty cool experience. But the lounge itself also feels so modern and fancy, and, well, most of the drinks really are out of this world, appropriately enough. So when we discovered three NEW drinks on the menu at GEO-82, we made our way back to the lounge to try two out. So let’s go!

While the process of waking up early at 6 AM ET 60 days out from your vacation is definitely still part of the Disney World planning steps, it’s not as daunting as it used to be. Disney World is CHANGING, and it’s all starting in 2026! New lands, new attractions, new restaurants, and much more are coming to the parks this year. With all these changes happening, it’s no wonder that we Disney Adults need to follow a few new rules this year.

If you’re heading to the parks in 2026, please consider these unspoken rules for Disney World this year. Unlike in other years, these “rules” will help you out now that the parks are looking a bit different.
Many of us first went to Disney World as children, and children feature heavily in most Disney vacation plans. The rides, the characters, the shows, and the buffets with counters featuring kid-friendly foods signal that this destination is family-friendly. But the truth is, Disney World has always featured spaces designed for adults, from the original Top of the World Lounge that opened in the Contemporary in 1971, to the 21+ Pleasure Island nightclub district, to the ages 10 and up limitation at Disney World’s most upscale restaurant, Victoria & Albert’s.
A Walk Through the Garden Mocktail
Adults who go to Disney without kids tend to get a bad rap — but Disney has always built spaces with adults in mind. From high-end restaurants to cocktail lounges, spas, and resort experiences, parts of Disney World were designed for grown-ups from the very beginning. And yes — it’s true that Disney is banning kids from some restaurants. But that’s not new, and it’s not scandalous.
Disney World is in the midst of a massive period of change that’s primed to change the resort forever. While some of these changes have proven divisive, others are definitely for the best!

I’ve been writing about Walt Disney World for 7 years, and visiting for nearly 5x that long, and over that time I’ve seen a lot of changes I’ve loved… and a lot I haven’t. Currently, massive construction projects are going on across the resort, with iconic rides closing to make way for the attractions of the future, some for the better and some potentially for the worse in my opinion. However, while those projects are still years away, there are several positive things going on in the parks RIGHT NOW!
