There are a few days out of the year that we all expect Disney World to be busy.

And speaking of random days, we thought we would give you a heads-up on two upcoming days that you’ll want to be aware of!

This just happened with one of the bags at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, and we see it often with Disney X Starbucks merchandise as well. We spotted a new piece of merchandise in Magic Kingdom a few days ago, and we’re not surprised to find it’s already gone. A LOT of people are about to be sad about this news — brace yourself.

We’ve enjoyed the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, the holiday parties, the holiday merchandise, and — most importantly — the holiday food. But there have been some pretty AMAZING holiday souvenirs, too, including some ICONIC popcorn buckets. Well, one of those popcorn buckets is now gone…probably for the rest of the year.

There are tons of things to do around the parks during the day — from trying seasonal treats and taking in all of the decor to meeting Santa Claus. If you want to get the most holiday cheer in during your vacation, however, you might want to check out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. At this special ticketed event, you’ll get to try some exclusive party snacks, meet all kinds of characters in their holiday best, watch party-exclusive entertainment, and more. But, this event is popular, so if you want to take part during your trip, it’s important to plan ahead.

There are tons of snacks to try out, rare characters to meet and take photos with, and people of all ages can dress up in their favorite costumes. However, if you were hoping to grab a ticket for a night later this year, we’ve got some bad news.
Genie+ has gone through a few different transformations since the skip-the-line service first rolled out in Disney World.

And, just when we thought we had the hang of things — Disney goes and changes it all over again. As of June 27th, Genie+ is now a per-park, per-day service, meaning that the price depends on which park you’re visiting and which date you visit. This “dynamic pricing” has ebbed and flowed since it was first introduced, but we’ve noticed something kind of peculiar lately.

We’ve been to a few, including one at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where we pretty much got to walk on to Rise of the Resistance. That’s why we might say these after hour events are worth it. Well, there are After Hours events in EPCOT, too, but if you were hoping to score tickets for it, you might have to wait until the next round of parties.
We KNOW it’s still July, but that doesn’t mean that we have to wait to get prepped for spooky season!
Halloween in Disneyland Resort
Disney kicks off Halloween celebrations in Magic Kingdom in August (which is NEXT MONTH!) and Disneyland Resort starts celebrating in September. One of the big ways that the west coast celebrates is with the very popular Oogie Boogie Bash event — and we’ve got some important news about that party.
It is a BIG day for Disney fans hoping to grab tickets to a Halloween Party.

Oogie Boogie Bash is a very popular Halloween party that takes place at Disneyland Resort. Tickets for the event initially went on sale to the general public at the end of June (after Magic Key Holder tickets sold out in the pre-sale), and it’s safe to say that things did NOT go well. Sales were paused, and it was announced last week that ticket sales would resume today. However, if you are wanting tickets, you better act FAST!
