When you ask any Disney World fan about their favorite memories, you’ll most likely hear about classic rides, magical characters, and unforgettable experiences. But what about the things that used to be normal at Disney World in the past that would seem downright BIZARRE today? To that point, we wanted to get your thoughts on some of the things you’d never believe used to be normal in Disney World!

And with over 25 attractions to choose from, it can feel like there isn’t enough time to do them all. But today, let’s focus on one ride in particular. Let’s talk about TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom and why, for some reason, all of us Disney Adults can stop asking for a specific row when we get on it!

However, we end up having to pick and choose which souvenirs we buy, and it seems like everyone on our team has a favorite. However, we asked YOU, our DFB readers, which souvenirs you think are perfect, and there was one Disney souvenir that stood out above the rest.

I mean, with over 25 hotels to pick from and three different categories (deluxe, moderate, value), it’s enough to make your head spin. But what if you want to stay as close as physically possible to your favorite park? Say you’re into Magic Kingdom. Well, we want to help narrow things down for you, so, to that point, we wanted to get your thoughts on which of the Magic Kingdom monorail hotels you would Kiss, Marry, or Kill!
Sometimes, it’s like we forget that Disney World has a LOT of parks!
Magic Kingdom
I mean, with four parks, it can be hard to keep track of them all, let alone try to prioritize them when you have limited time on vacation. For example, EPCOT has all the best food, Hollywood Studios has all the best rides, Animal Kingdom has the vibes, and then… Magic Kingdom just slips to the bottom of our list sometimes, especially after we’ve been so frequently! To that point, we wanted to get your thoughts on whether or not you ever skip Magic Kingdom when you go to Disney World!
Water parks are a great option during the heat of the summer. You can cool off in the clear waters and race down water slides.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Disney World has two different water parks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach (currently closed for the season). We always love a water park day, but we were curious about what goes on behind the scenes. Are there water park horror stories from people who have worked there?

Eating and drinking around the world and the World Showcase, in general, are two big things, but when we say EPCOT you also might think of one of the most popular rides in Disney World right now — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We ADORE this ride, but think some of the song choices could be refreshed just a little bit. We asked our readers on Facebook what they thought, and we fully support these suggestions!

The only constant is change, right? We can definitely see that with all the new additions like TRON Lightcycle / Run and other construction projects throughout the parks and over the years.
