We’re tackling Disney’s Animal Kingdom for all the new Tasting Sampler dishes available during the holiday season!

And this time AK is bringin’ the HEAT with a new tamale that’s perfect for your seasonal snacking in Disney World!

Yahoo! Animal Kingdom’s Tasting Sampler is BACK and we’ve got the details for ya right here! The Tasting Sampler will set you back $50.00 and includes two digital value cards. First up — one $50 card that can be used at over 40 outdoor food and beverage locations throughout the park (NO expiration!). Second, you get a bonus $10.00 card that can be used at the following quick-service restaurants after 4:00 PM from December 22, 2019 through January 4, 2020: Restaurantosaurus, Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Satu’li Canteen.

There are a TON of new items available this year — as well as some returning favorites! But remember — you don’t have to buy the sampler to buy the dishes. ANYONE can get them a la carte as well!

Animal Kingdom Tasting Sampler

Here we go to the The Smiling Crocodile where they will be serving up the Pulled Pork Street Taco that returns from last year as well as two new offerings, including the Pulled Pork Jelly Doughnut Sandwich and the Tamale with A Trio of Pepper Sauces.

The Pork Tamale is priced at $6.29 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

It’s served with a Trio of Pepper Sauces that includes Tomatillo Sauce, Red Chile Sauce, and a Jalapeño Cream Sauce.

This baby is stuffed to the brim with delicious and tender pork.

Our favorite of the trio was definitely the Jalapeño Cream Sauce but it was fun getting to try all 3.

Trio of Pepper Sauces

This dish had a little spice but nothing to be 🔥FIVE-alarmed🔥 about. All in all, it was super flavorful and we’d certainly get it again. Still, there was more than just Disney spice here if you’re spice averse.

Pork Tamale

While this one wasn’t our favorite of the day, if you’ve gotta have a tamale during your Christmas season, here’s where to get one if you’re doing the holidays in Disney World!
