And even though the Star Wars: Galaxy Edge major headliner doesn’t officially open until tomorrow in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, we got to take our first ride on it TODAY!
Isn’t it just so exciting to finally know the exact date that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be opening in Disney World?!

And while March 4th can’t come quickly enough, Disney shared with us a first look inside the new attraction today, as well as a sneak peek at some of the brand new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway merchandise that will be available in the springtime of 2020!

Can you believe it’s been over 2 years since the Great Movie Ride took its final bow? We’ve slowly seen more details come out about its replacement, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, including the attraction poster, ride vehicles, and even the opening date (!!!). Now, it’s time to take a FIRST LOOK inside this upcoming attraction.

First, we were spooked out by the Haunted Mansion’s gingerbread house, then we were treated to the stately Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s gingerbread display located in its lobby!

Not only did we find out when Mickey’s and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is opening Hollywood Studios, but we’ve also even found out the opening timeline for the Star Wars hotel! We’re super pumped for the brand new Mickey Shorts Theater coming to Hollywood Studios and now we know when we can catch all our fave episodes of the Mickey Mouse Cartoon!
