Disney food is one of our favorite things EVER, so we love being able to take some of the magic home with us!
And, while we’ve already spotted Mickey Ice Cream Bars and Millennium Falcon Ice Cream Sandwiches at our grocery stores, there’s ANOTHER classic park treat making its way to YOUR neighborhood RIGHT NOW!
Thanks to our sweet friends @code_word_disney, we’re able to show you the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwiches (!!!) that you can grab RIGHT NOW!
The latest treats coming to your local grocery stores are made with two soft chocolate cookies (even Mickey looks super excited about them on the front of the box)…
…and Cookies ‘N Cream ice cream, which seems like a super yummy combo!
How do these compare to the ones IN the parks? Pretty closely, it seems! While the Mickey Bars sold in stores are noticeably smaller than their in-park counterparts, these are roughly the same size! The pic below is a sammie from in the parks…
…and the one below is a store-bought version. Pretty close, eh?!
So whether you’ve just gotten back from Disney World or you’ve been missing the parks for a while, you can indulge yourself with a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich without heading to a Disney park or resort!
Now, here’s the rub. Our friends found these guys in California. We exhausted as many grocery stores, Targets, and Wal-Marts as humanly possible in the Dallas area hunting for these bad boys and came up totally empty. We looked EVERYWHERE we could think to look! SO…that just means they’ve likely just started to make their way into stores. If you don’t see them at your store, don’t give up! Check back, or ask if your local store plans to carry them (they can usually tell you if they plan to carry an item if you ask at Customer Service!).
Thanks again to our friends at Code Word Disney for their pics! Now, imagine snuggling up on your couch with one of these and “The Imagineering Story” on Disney+. Perfection! 😉

We need feedback, do they taste the same when they are eaten outside of Disney?? I guarantee they don’t!
Michael P Feeney says
It is entirely possible that these are produced by a californian company who does not have permission to distribute to locations outside of california, as well.

We saw the ice cream bars at Smart and Final in Simi Valley, CA. Keeping an eye out for the sandwiches!
Linda M Jordan says
I saw the them at a Publix in Pensacola Florida.

Sadly the Mickey vanilla ice cream bar with hard chocolate IS NOT the same tasty treat at Disney world. The chocolate is very waxy and not very chocolate tasting and the vanilla ice cream lacks that creamy vanilla taste we all love instead it is similar to ice milk. Was so excited when I saw them in my grocer’s freezer and grabbed em up.But I won’t eat another til I’m visiting Disney👎👎

Hate to be a downer, but the Mickey Bars at the grocery store are NOTHING like the ones as Disney Parks. The store bought ones are low fat and low calorie. They are dipped in more of a milk chocolate coating instead of dark chocolate. And the low fat ice cream makes the whole thing very bland. Not rich in flavor. It’s a huge bummer. I’m obsessed with Mickey Bars and I really wanted these to be the same thing. Save your money and indulge on several when you return to a Disney Park.

The ice cream bars are nothing like the ones at the parks. They are disappointing.
Mike says
Been getting these at our local Publix for awhile now.

I have bought all three at Krogers in Houston, TX since the beginning of the year. They do not taste the same as in the parks but we enjoy them just the same. The chocolate is not the dark chocolate that you get in the parks on the bars or sandwiches. The sizes of the bars and sandwiches are also smaller and the thinner but what can you say 🙂 Never had the millennium sandwiches in the park but they were selling them for 2.99 a box…
Bill says
I just got the ice cream sandwiches today. They ARE NOT the same size. Not even close. I would know because I always get the ice cream sandwich at Disney World.
