The Imagineering Story has been a favorite of ours since it premiered with the launch of Disney+. The series follows the evolution of the Disney Parks from the humble beginnings of Disneyland all the way to the international parks we have today.

Lucky for you, Disney released Imagineering in a Box! This is a free online curriculum that covers the many skills required to become an Imagineer. From mathematics to engineering to storytelling, this is a fun course for the whole family!

Filled with interactive exercises, you’re sure to gain a deeper appreciation for the work that goes into making Disney World a reality!

Build a Roller Coaster Launch

For extra credit, you can put your new-found Imagineering skills to the test by building your own roller coaster launch at home! Disney released a fun online lesson using Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to explore the process of actually creating a roller coaster launch using Matchbox cars and magnets!

The science behind Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s intense launch is surprisingly simple when recreated in your own home!

My Disney Experience “Play From Home”

Dapper Day at Home

Did you know Dapper Day is just around the corner? Well…it would have been if Disneyland was still open. Why not celebrate at home!? Dress to the nines! Connect with some of your “dapper” friends via Zoom (and add some fun Disney themed backgrounds while you’re at it!).

On April 19th, dress up in your dapper best, snap a pic, and tag #dapperdayathome on Instagram for a chance to have your look shared by the official Dapper Day Instagram account.

Watch Movies to Prepare You For Your Next Disney Trip!

With Avengers Campus slated to open at Disneyland this summer (we hope it doesn’t get too delayed!), why not use this time to re-watch all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films (for an extra challenge, watch them all in the correct order!).

There are a few films, including Infinity War, Ant Man and the Wasp, both Spider-Man films, and The Incredible Hulk, that you’ll have to find off of Disney+ at the moment, BUT with so much content to get you pumped for the new land, this should keep you busy for a while!

There’s still plenty to look forward to at Disney World if you’re a Marvel fan! You can rewatch the Guardians of the Galaxy films in preparation for the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coming soon to Epcot!

Missing Tower of Terror? Why not marathon your way through the original Twilight Zone series? You can watch a ton of old episodes on Netflix, and next time you visit Hollywood Studios, you might be able to spot a bunch of Easter Eggs!
