We’ve been keeping track of when Disney releases news regarding events, tickets, dates and special offers for what seems like forever.
And this year…well…we’re still waiting on a LOT OF INFO, my friends. There’s usually been a BUNCH of stuff shared with us by now — event dates, festival schedules and menus, discounts, and more! But due to closures and general uncertainty about the reopening of the Disney parks, there are still several super critical pieces of info we’re missing!
That’s right, friends. Disney doesn’t exactly stick to clockwork precision, but they’re often relatively predictable. And today we’ve got a list of 6 things we’re still waiting on Disney to tell us about so we can plan our next vacations.
We’ve got our ears to the ground, though! Be sure to join the DFB Newsletter so you can be notified AS SOON as this info comes out!
Epcot’s 2020 Food and Wine Festival Dates…AND MENUS!
Disney has been very tight-lipped about Epcot’s 2020 International Food and Wine Festival. Last year, Disney made this announcement on April 3rd, but so far, we haven’t heard a peep! We don’t even know what we’ll be EATIN’ yet!
Check out the full list of food booths and menus from last year’s Food and Wine Festival here!
Epcot’s 2019 Food and Wine Festival ran from August 29th – November 23rd, and we can probably expect this year’s fest to fall somewhere in this timeframe.
Disney hasn’t officially released the list of performers who’ll be playing at the festival’s Eat to the Beat concert series, buuuuut it looks like a few musicians have landed the gig and updated their touring schedules online.
See which performers are already booked to perform at Epcot’s Eat to the Beat concert series here!
Epcot’s 2020 Festival of the Holidays Dates
On the same day last year when news broke about Epcot’s 2019 Food and Wine Festival, Disney World also released its 2019 Festival of the Holidays dates. Yes sir, April 3rd was one BUSY day!
But as you can see, April 3rd came and went this year without ANY info! Last year, Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays went from November 29th until December 30th, so we’re guessing the dates will be something very similar to that!
We’re dying to know when we can get our fill of holiday eats around the world this year!!

Disney World Free Dining Offer
Disney often releases its popular Disney World Free Dining Offer to Visa Cardholders around this time. Free Dining grants guests a free Disney Dining Plan with the purchase of a Disney vacation package. Guests at Value and Moderate level resorts often receive a free Quick Service Dining Plan (2 fast-food meals and 2 snacks per night along with a refillable souvenir mug) and guests with Deluxe level room or higher often receive the Standard Dining Plan (1 fast-food meal and one sit-down meal per night along with a refillable souvenir mug).
Historically, Disney has offered Free Dining for Disney Visa cardholders on April 24th. They did so last year and in 2018 as well. Currently, there is a free dining offer for guests affected by Disney World’s temporary closure, but this is a different offer from the one we’re expecting to happen soon (fingers-crossed!).
Last year, guests had until June 16th to book the Disney World Free Dining Offer. You also had to book a 4-night minimum length of stay and purchase a 5-day Park Hopper ticket. We’ll certainly be waiting with EAGER anticipation to see if Disney rolls out free dining again in any capacity this year!

Free Dining Offer For U.K. Residents
Disney normally releases a free dining offer for U.K. residents during this time of year, but so far we haven’t seen this special offer on Disney’s U.K. website. In 2019, the offer appeared on April 11th with the booking window not starting until April 25th.
Last year’s offer was good until November 30th and even included $200 in Disney spending money. There was a 5-night minimum stay at a Walt Disney World Hotel required, and the offer included Disney’s 14-Day Ultimate Tickets for the price of a 7-Day Ticket. While we’re not sure if this deal will be extended to U.K. residents again this year, we’ll certainly be on the look-out for it!

Oogie Boogie Bash Dates and Tickets
We received confirmation back in December that Oogie Boogie Bash would be returning once again to Disney California Adventure, but that’s all Disney has shared with us so far!
Oogie Boogie Bash’s 2019 dates were previously released on April 17th while tickets went on sale April 23rd. Boogie’s bash took place on select nights starting September 17th and ran until October 31st.
In Florida, tickets and dates for Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties have already been released (event dates were announced and tickets went on sale in February), so we’re hoping it won’t be much longer until we can RSVP for Oogie’s Halloween party in Disneyland Park Resort (they DID all sell out fast last year!).

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates and Tickets
And while Disney World has told us when we can put on our Halloween costumes and party the night away at Magic Kingdom, there’s another big celebration we’re waiting to learn more about — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for 2020!
Tickets were released April 8th last year and the party dates took place on select evenings between November 8th and December 22nd. That date has come and gone but NO tickets just yet!

We know it’s only a matter of time before these festival dates and some of these announcements (hopefully!) are made, but the suspense is really starting to build! Don’t worry — we’re keeping constant vigil over Disney’s many websites and we’ll let you know as soon as any additional information becomes available! Until then, join that newsletter! We GOT this!
