When Disney World reopened this summer, a lot of places within Disney World didn’t. But recently, we’ve seen that begin to change, with restaurant reopenings happening across all four theme parks!
ABC Commissary Reopening
We were delighted to see the return of Cinderella’s Royal Table (WITH Cinderella!), as well as the reopening of one of our favorite watering holes Dawa Bar. And many more locations are reopening every day!
We recently learned that ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios would soon reopen, and started to count down the days until it did. That day has finally arrived, and we are here! Similar to most other locations we’ve eaten at, we placed our order via Mobile Order outside.

The menu does feature some major changes, though. There are far fewer entrees and most of the ones on the menu are NEW! A lot of the side items are new, too! We went with the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich because it sounded DELISH. Don’t worry pals…a review is coming SOON!!

Once our order was ready, we showed it to the Cast Member at the door, who directed us to a window.

Once we picked up our food, another Cast Member directed us to our table and then introduced himself. He also told us he would be around if we needed anything else and would be the one bussing the table when we were finished. As in other restaurants, seating was spaced apart to allow for social distancing.

The beverage station was open, but a Cast Member assists guests in getting their beverages.

Forks, knives, and spoons are readily available in the dispensers we’ve seen all over the parks. Condiments were left out in packages for guests to grab if needed.

We’ll be sure to let you know how our meal was later! But for now, it’s great to have another quick service location open at Hollywood Studios, especially with some new things to try! We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for other reopenings and report back!

I hope they and all QS locations leave the enter/exit only lanes in place even after COVID is gone. It’s a logistcal nightmare to try and get out of the lines while carrying a tray of food. I’m thankful i’ve never dropped my tray or had someone bump into me.
