Now that Halloween is over, the holidays are in full swing!
We’ve already seen some decorations popping up in the parks, and now Disney has released a full list of holiday snacks coming to Disney World this season! We are ready to get into the holiday spirit!
Magic Kingdom is bringing back some old treats and introducing some new ones this season! So glad to see the Orange Bird treat — an exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year — back again full time! And a chocolate taco?!? Yes Please!
Twice Upon a Cupcake – A confetti Christmas tree tops a vanilla cupcake with a red velvet hidden Mickey (Available at Main Street Bakery Nov. 6 – Dec. 30)
Let it Snow Taco – Sugar cookie “taco shell” filled with salted caramel and spiced chocolate mousse (Available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe Nov. 6 – Dec. 30)
Chip and Dale Christmas Churros – Gingerbread churros topped with apple pie filling and chocolate chips (Available at Westward Ho Nov. 6 – Dec. 30)
Last year, the Pistachio Cherry Float made its way to Aloha Isle, but it looks like that treat is getting some changes! It will still have the same pistachio soft-serve, but with chai-tea instead of cherry. The Orange Bird treat looks the same as last year, however they do not indicate the candied orange peel and citrus almond cream in the description this year. The Twice Upon a Cupcake, Chip & Dale Christmas Churros, and the Let It Snow Taco appear to be new treats this year!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate – Frozen salted caramel hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, green sugar, and a chocolate drizzle served with a souvenir Mickey Glow (Available at PizzeRizzo, Backlot Express, ABC Commissary, and Rosie’s All–American Café Nov. 6 – Jan. 4)
Olaf’s Snow Flurry – Yellow cupcake with vanilla buttercream, snow flurry sugar, and Olaf Glow (Available at Rosie’s All–American Café Nov. 6 – Jan. 4)
While we’ve seen a Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini in EPCOT, the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate is new this year along with the Holiday Whoopie Pie! The Mickey Holiday Cookie looks very similar to a Disneyland exclusive cookie we found a few years ago, so we are excited to get it over in Disney World. Last year, we saw a new Olaf cupcake, however it is very different from this year’s Olaf themed treat! Instead of hot chocolate flavor, this cupcake will be a vanilla flavor this year.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
A few familiar holiday treats will be in Animal Kingdom this season!
We’ve seen the Menagerie Cupcake and White-Chocolate Peppermint Mousse before, but the Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwich is new! We saw a Santa Mickey Mousse last year at Hollywood Studios, but it got a major glow up this year! Instead of a cookie base, this year it is a brownie base, and the mousse in dome shaped as opposed to a classic Santa hat shape. The mousse has also changed from chocolate to white chocolate and peppermint.
While we are still waiting for the Festival of the Holidays food announcements, we did notice a couple favorites from the festival last year will make a return!
Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Sneak Peek! Maple Bûche de Noël – Maple mousse and cranberry rolled in gingerbread chiffon cake
The Spiked Frozen Apple Pie is exactly the same as last year and we are thrilled to have it back! Although the same ingredients are listed for the Maple Buche de Noel, it looks like the decoration will be a bit different this year.
Disney notes that they will soon be sharing their Foodie Guide for the upcoming Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. We are so excited to try all of these treats! When they are released, we will be sure to give you our full review!
