The Disneyland parks are officially reopening on April 30th!
Tickets are going on sale SOON, and we’ve already received some details about what rides, characters, and more will be like when the parks reopen. And now, we’ve got more important updates about WHO, exactly, will be able to get into the parks!
We previously shared Disney’s purchasing guidelines for when tickets go on sale on April 15th. So if you’re visiting, keep these eigiblity requirements in mind! First, the parks will only be open to California residents until further notice. And in compliance with current state guidelines, groups larger than 3 households will not be permitted to visit.
Disney will be collecting contact information (for tracing purposes) from the ticket purchaser, as well as proof of California residency from all members of the travel party. And as the parks will reopen at limited capacity, all guests will have to make theme park reservations using Disney’s Park Pass reservation system.
If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland when it reopens, make sure you meet all of these qualifications. These details may be easy to overlook, especially since we’re used to going to the parks with groups of any size! We’ll continue to keep you posted with more reopening news and updates, so stay tuned to DFB.
